Now I'm a bit worried about getting my tire replaced that has a bubble. Does anyone know if I can drive to Tire Rack and have them do an install?

That's about 90 miles. At speeds of 70 mph plus. I do it all the time. But, not with a bubble. Take off the wheel, and drive it to South Bend in the family cruiser. They charge $15 for road force balancing tires they have sold. Excellent work quality.

I can loan you a worn take-off tire in either front or rear sizes, if you are in an emergency situation. Let me know.

mine too...will match tire rack's price and have them shipped to them and I just bring the car in and they'll do the install/swap!

Be careful - Porsche will do that but they will not provide the 2 year tire guarantee that Tire Rack provides. If something happens in 2 years, TR will replace tire if you buy it from them. If you buy from Porsche, if something happens in 2 years, you are on your own .

I've used Costco for my last Porsche with good success.

PS4s are $1700 mounted with road hazard.

Granted they don't have the road force balancing.

Thanks a lot sir! Yes, probably worth throwing in the Volvo to drive it over there. 80/94 roads suck anyway probably not worth taking a chance.

I'm in Hinsdale, where about's are you?
