im guessing you are talking about the the screen between the two engine cover fans? there should be a rubber accordion surround on top of the screen that keeps the screen in place and directs air in from the outside of hatch.

That thing has some male fittings underneath it that slide into female grommets. I suspect they are not properly aligned and inserted. It has to come off for an oil change so whoever changed your oil last probably failed to put it back together properly. Very easy adjustment to make.
