My dealer still has allocations, and is discounting them as well; several of us here have ordered lately but allocations are going fast since people realize it may be a while to get what they want in a 992. And it does not matter where you live since you can get a local dealer to do the courtesy delivery, which reimburses them for the PDI.

I will be putting my 2014 up for sale. Was wondering how many posts I need to have before I can start a thread to list my car.

I think you need to be a paid Rennlist member to list in the classifieds. I recently had success using the free cars.com ad, and 6speedonline.com is a great place as well.

thanks Bob. I didn’t realized I wasn’t a paid member. I just paid and voila!

You are welcome. Be sure to list it on 6speedonline.com as well, which has numerous P-cars for sale and lots of other cool rides to browse.

I have no doubt that there are dealers in the US with unclaimed allocations. Just - if what I was told is correct - not in Northeast.

My actual point was: spending a lot time deciding between various 911 subtypes is probably less important than finding a dealer you want to work with that has an unclaimed allocation for any 911. If one spends a month on the configurator the last tranche of 991 allocations will be claimed.

worf928 - perhaps things have changed since you were provided that information. As it sits today, I an allocation for a 911T or a C4S available to me. I am just having a tough time making up my mind!

Good for you! I’m not going to investigate the allocation issue because if I do I will have to figure out how to make room for a 991T.

You haven't mentioned intended use. You did mention ‘more desirable and easier to sell.’ On the topic of the former, my wife DDs her C2S year-‘round. Snow tires and an adjusted nut behind the wheel work except in deep snow due to ground clearance.

Well, the decision has been made. GT silver 911T was ordered today. November build. Now the wait begins!
