Default DSC V3

I've tried to read through some of the older threads on the DSC V3, and I'm still not 100% clear on whether or not this mod might solve some of my gripes about the car. Perhaps this thread could serve as a good "update" on any feedback DSC V3 owners might have.

I find on many roads that the car is overly "bouncy" - it feels unsettled. There are some corners, or even straight roads, where it feels like the car is "skipping" over unevenness in the road. Doesn't seem to matter if the suspension is in standard or firm mode (my car has SPASM).

Overall, I love this car, but I feel like it's missing something in the road-manners department. I'm also aware that some of my complaints might be related to the electric steering, but even if I ignore how the steering wheel sometimes skips around, the suspension issues are still there. Could even attribute some of this to tires, I know the Pirelli tires are not great, but when my car was CPO'd last year, they installed brand new tires. I can't justify replacing those when I've only done 4,000 km on them.

I love this car, and I plan to keep it for a long time - I'd love to get it properly sorted.

I love my DSC V3, I live in Houston and our roads are concrete so there is a seam every 100-150ft and with the various sections there can be an undulation of 0.25-0.5 inches which will cause the bouncy feeling, especially in the firm suspension setting. Probably similar to the frost expansion in Calgary. All this is fixed with the V3. Car is butter smooth and even better than my Cayenne with air suspension.
Since you can change the resistance (ie firmness) in the controller you can make adjustment to your environment and driving style. I can recommend this product and the guys at TPC are friendly and very helpful

Ditto. I have v2 but it makes driving over freeway expansion joints feel “normal” vs spine rattling before. Never going to be an S-class but feels right to me

I just got DSC V3. I haven't reset ride height yet. It is instantly smoother. The other thing is tyre pressure. I have MPSC2. At the track you need to drop to 29/33. That is Comfort mode on your tyre pressure monitor.

Since switching to that, it a lot better on the street also. Over inflated tyres are bumpy. So try the comfort setting. Because really, that's also the TRACK setting for best performance.

I am thinking of getting the full TracTive coilovers. Then upgrade DSC for that. They react 17x faster than GT3RS.

Thanks! I did reduce to 31/34 although it's been abnormally hot in Calgary this week (high 90's), so I might need to bleed a bit of air.
