IMHO I think the clear tails would look better on Lava, red and orange are too close in color. I have clear tails on my 991.1 Platinum Silver, I currently have them tinted a light gray. But I can peel that off for a different look and go back to clear if I want to. Look at tinted clear tails. That might work out better for you than red or clear.

Mmmm still on the fence. I do think it will look different. Whether I would like it is another matter. It would look exactly like this...
