Have the hole but could go either way. I do use it though and like the open air feel when just cruising.

I love the glass sunroof and the light it let's in. I also like to put it in the vent positions as this way I can hear enjoy the PSE better and.....I can hear the turbos spool.

No hole. Deliberately.

No hole - wouldn't have it any other way.

Rarely use the glass roof on my 2015 991.1 while driving but do use it to vent interior on hot days when parked at work.

No hole. And happy I did not have to pay extra to "delete" it.

I use my whenever I can. My cars always have a sun/moon roof or is a drop top with two exception (the BMW M6 and the Audi TTC)

Mine is aluminum and given the choice I would have preferred glass — both for the contrast (black roof, silver car) and for the light without actually opening it. I hadn’t thought of the fact that glass carries a weight penalty. I’d still go glass if I could pick for a new car.

Glasshole checking in. Shade is always open. Whenever the windows are down (about half the time or more) it’s at least vented. I’ve had it completely open a handful of times in the 3.5 months of ownership. I love mine and have had a hole in every car since ‘98. My wife also loves the glasshole in the 991, because she likes how it opens up the cabin.

I'm indifferent, I maybe open it a few times a year, but always wondered how much head room if any would be gained by not having a sunroof? 6'2", looong torso and wouldn't mind a little extra head room.

Funny. I wouldn't buy one without the hole. And I'd choose the metal version too. Use mine every time I drive!

Passed on a Cayman GT4 as it just wouldn't be as enjoyable... to each their own I guess!

Never liked them. Was almost going to order a base 991.2 because of a lack of 991.1s without sunroofs . But patience paid off

Sunroof delete because I'm an enthusiast (pronounce with an air of sophistication).

Default no hole, no cry

Who would cut a hole or the roof off one of the best vehicles ever made (I am referring to a .1 of course).
