Alignment with tire change?

I agree a vehicle my not require an alignment unless there are wear patterns on the tire/s or questionable handling to warrant so. Some Indy shops will inform you there is a minimal charge or not to put the car up on the rack; if the alignment is out of factory specs they recommend the option to align or not (street or track alignment) your call.

Getting an alignment done next week. On special for $300. First alignment in 59,000 miles.

Typically dealers and shops say only do it when required (suspension work) or there is a problem (uneven wear or handling funky or you recently hit something).
Cars can pull a direction is due to low quality tires. Its normal to have hold wheel slightly off center when going straight due to crown in the road for drainage or other imperfections. A lower sportier suspension accentuates this.
