Question 991.1 vs 991.2 Hood

Does anyone know if the .1 hood will fit a .2 ?

To clarify, are you talking about the frunk cover or the engine cover?

Good question but 50% wrong options.

Depending from which part of the world someone is; hood would either be the front trunk lid, or the cabriolet top.

In Porsche lingo, the rear cover is called the decklid.

In this case, I’m assuming we’re talking about the front trunk lid.

Although I cannot definitively say "yes," I would have to imagine it does, as nothing about the overall structure of the car changed between the .1 and 2. That being said, there is a subtle change to the fascia in front of the hood between the 991.1 and 991.2. The 991.2 has subtle creases just in front of the hood. Should not affect the fitment of the hood itself, though.

Doubt he buys full cars and take them apart to sell parts, more like he buys parts from wrecked cars and sell them. They are however genuine though.
