Wheel lock key
Just picked up my 1st Porsche, 2016 911 Carerra 4S, loving this car! I just realized the key for the wheel locks is missing from the tool kit
Any forum members out there in the Denver metro area that has a key I could borrow for these locks https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/LUGSETLOCK.html ? The wheels are coming off this weekend (if I can find a key), then off to powdercoat Monday!

Just went through this......go to the parts department at your local dealership and the service guy will come out with a kit containing 20 some different keys. He will find the right one and either sell you that on or order one for you.

Do you have factory-installed 5mm spacers? You are in for a shock, if so. For some reason Porsche used VIN-specific, two-piece, locking lugs when spacers were installed. Your dealer does not have a master key and the replacement key is around $300.
I have 5mm spacers and my key was slightly damaged, so I spoke to three dealers and Suncoast. A local dealer charged a nominal fee to remove them; the service manager said they could do it and would replace the key if they stripped it.
Your wheels are not safe if a thief really wants them; "special" sockets have been designed to grab the outside of a locking lug, and unscrew it. You are more likely to end up stuck somewhere when the stupid thing strips.

Yup, tool kit in the trunk has an empty spot for the key. I purchased from a local Mercedes dealer, I found a service receipt in the glovebox with the previous owners name and # I may just give him a call...........
