Default New Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R!!!

Just saw this information about the new tire, for the ones who don't know about it, it's the tire the 991.2 GT2 RS and 991.2 GT3RS made the Nürburgring records, for now only on the RS sizes 265/35R20 and 325/30R21 and the sale begins on the end of July on Performance shops as Manthey Racing or TeamSchirmer!

There is a big difference on tread pattern!! 🤤🤤

Looks like they want it to be more competitive with Trofeo Rs, but at expense of wet performance, so less dual purpose than the prior SC2.

Given the amount of camber you have to run for Cup 2s to wear evenly, they're not very "dual purpose" in practice anyways - if these are not outrageously expensive, wear longer/better than the Trofeo R and are faster than the previous Cup2, it'd be a winner

The treat pattern looks pretty much the same. The big difference appears to be the 3rd water channel is very small, and even the first two are reduced in size. So yes, More rubber contact and slightly less water channelling.
