I am just curious what model he was driving. The wheels looks like 911.

Very sad. Probably not smart but no less sad.

Very sad and causes one to wake up as I’m sure most of us push it at times. But 150 mph on a public road in the afternoon is just not wise.
Terrible thing to see.

Mistakes happen and there are consequences. No need to bash a dead guy. He paid the price and isn't here to write about it. More than can be said for the rest of us.

Never like to hear about stories like this.
I wonder what they mean by "he missed his exit". I am sure its easy to miss an exit dong 150.

Probably hitting an open highway, sees exit last minute and thinks he can make it. Exit is too tight and he flys off it.
Many off ramps around Raleigh are tight as hell.

Lots of mis-information. Sorta like fake news. First reported as being hit by a semi. False. Next to a semi that witnessed him suddenly accelerate. First reported as on I-40 going onto Wade Ave. False. On Wade Ave at I-40. Guy lives close by. No reason to get on 40. A witness said it looked like he was doing 150 mph so the news used that figure. No one knows how fast as there were no skid marks. Will know once the info is downloaded from the computer. Man was a doctor and a member of the Hurricane Region, PCA. Wife said that he had previous medical problems and might have suffered a seizure or heart attack. He will be sadly missed by our region.
