Default Scratch on center console; looking for advice

Hi
I noticed this scratch a few days ago and while it's minor, of course it's nagging me. This is on the passenger side of the center console. I have "full leather, black" but can't tell if this part is leather or rubber. I'm assuming it happened months ago when I had a custom fire extinguisher mount installed - they had to remove the seat and it must've happened then. Anyway, it's minor but I don't want it to spread. Any idea what I can put on it or do to it to blend it in so it disappears ?

Thanks !

Many leather repair shops can repair leather, plastic, and vinyl. My local one can and did a nice job on a gouge in the "leatherette" on another car of mine a while back. It didn't 100% disappear but you had to look really hard to find it.

I'd suggest you check with them before trying a DIY since your attempt may interfere with a more proper fix. Prices have been very reasonable the three times I've used them in the last few years.

Get thee to a leather repair shop. Easy fix with the right tools & chemicals... probably < $50.

That part is not leather, even with the "full" leather interior option. There are a multitude of additional leather options beyond the $3850 leather interior option, if you want a real full leather interior. Around $13K worth of options. That part is included among the extra $13K.

Repair! And I will wager that no passenger will ever point it out to you.

Sorry if this is no support, but that is so minor that I'd consider it normal wear and rare. How often do you look down that area when driving? Consider it a battle scar and move on.

On the passenger side? I would never see it unless I was cleaning the interior lol.

That’s vinyl. Get a little acrylic paint and touch it up. Easy.

Some dealers work with shops that can fix this so you may be able to get it fixed next time you take your car in for service.

New this is a $150 part from Porsche.

I would either do a quick DIY touch up or just replace the part.
