I thought it might be helpful for some of you that might be ordering cars to see the differences.

Looks so much more finished with the painted side skirts. I had the unpainted skirts on my 997.1TT, and they always bothered me. I wouldn't buy another 911 without painted side skirts.

Look great. Put PPF on them ASAP. They get trashed.

Nice. So in rear, the black skirt was textured plastic? If so, how did they smooth out surface for paint?

like Randy M i went the other way.....i like it to look a little less finished, a little more GT3/RS......had white painted lip, skirts, rear fascia all around, i went as far as (double) filming the front lip matte black to match the rest of the black parts.

i do think your call looks good that way too!

When you order the painted skirts option the factor uses a smooth plastic (not textured) skirt a rear fascia. To STG’s point, that area does take a beating.

Count me in as a fan of them painted, especially on a light colored car

My wife has a Macan s, and they come standard with cheap *** looking plastic side skirts and rear bumpers. We made sure to find one that had the sport design kit to get the painted sides front and rear, looks worlds better

nice looking car!

If I remember correctly, you picked-up your car in Leipzig. Did you get the skirts protected from the get go with a local installer?
