Best dealer for service in NC
Hi all,
I'm looking for a recommendation for which dealer to take my 2017 C4S for service or warranty work in the central NC area. I'm willing to drive 2-3 hrs if that's what it takes to get to the best dealer. I've had poor experiences with dealers touching my cars. They've done poor work, scratched things, and more often than not, re-assembled things incorrectly. We have the following dealers in NC (arranged nearest to farthest):
Central (Triad/Triangle)
Foreign Cars Italia (Greensboro, NC)
Porsche Southpoint (Durham, NC)
Leith Porsche (Cary, NC)
West (mountains area)
Porsche Hickory (Hickory, NC)
Porsche Asheville (Asheville, NC)
East (beach area)
Porsche Wilmington (Wilmington, NC)
South (SC border)
Hendrick Porsche (Charlotte, NC)
My experience with Southpoint has been poor, so I'm leaning toward Leith. I never been to any other dealer before. Greensboro is my next choice.
Anyone in the area able to give me a recommendation? My car has a squeaking sound that I think is coming from driver's side strut... its starting to drive me crazy and I need to get it fixed. I know an Indy shop that I'd rather take it to for service (Automotive Solutions in Chapel Hill - highly recommended), but this is warranty work so it must be a dealer.

I've only heard good things about Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC.
Visited often and took a tour of their facility when I lived in NC but never had a car serviced there.
It's worth a drive to visit and check them out.

I've had my various Porsche's serviced by Foreign Cars in Greensboro. Work has been top notch and completed when promised. Schedule in advance for a loaner and ask for a PCA discount if you're a member.

Tried to call the service manager of Foreign Cars and Leith and am not impressed. Wasn't able to speak to them and had to leave message. No response after 3 hours. Either its a busy day or I'm not that important.

It's a Monday at peak season... easy tiger. Good thing I don't have have to deal with you, you seem like a treat.

Insult? It's common sense ..... report what??
Maybe call PCNA and tell them dealer didn't call back in 3hrs. Report them?
Oh get it now. You're salty about previous CPO discussion where you were posting wrong facts. It's ok. We're all good.

Received callback from Leith before end of day, but not Greensboro. Talked to service manager Mike and he addressed my concerns and seemed honest enough. They have the most gold level techs in NC apparently.
Will drop it off next week Wednesday and see what happens.

Leith and FCI have been great for my Dad for 20+ years when he's needed them. Also good service at Millersport: http://www.millersportauto.com/. Talk to Chuck.
