The Luxor beige cleans up easily, only draw back is the need for polarized sunglasses during the day. Nice change from the typical black. I saw a white 911 the other day, it was really nice. If I were in the market for .1S, I'd be all over that car. Great build.

Good point, on a car with 6k miles, everything should definitely be original. Rear tires may have been replaced. 10k service definitely should have been done.

Given that the CPO warranty extends two years from the expiration date of the original four year warranty, it may expire shortly. If the original warranty had been punched in the fall of 2012, when 2013 models were initially sold, for example, the CPO would end in just a few months. Unless the car was first sold and the warranty punched after the beginning of the 2014 model year, , it will end in little over a year at the latest.

I'm picking mine up tomorrow after searching high and low for a month or so.

I would say yours is a great deal, great options and condition looks really nice. I actually ended up picking one CPO with more miles because it was the ONLY 1-owner car I could find. Almost all of the CPO's in the 12-14 I was looking at had 2 owners or more. One I found was CPO with 4 owners.. 34k miles fully loaded ($125ish sticker) CPO and it was $75K. Lower miles out here in CA could be anywhere from 76-84K depending on the year and miles.

Dont think you can get close to that on a CPO car. The lowest CPO car i saw was a 2013 with 50k miles S but pretty base (PDK but no SC, base seat...) and that was asking $69k

Actually you get 2 years from the date you buy the car as CPO (doesnt matter when the original in service date is)

Doesn't this depend on whether you are buying a previously CPO'd car vs a car that they CPO when they sell to you? i.e. my car has a CPO till Jan 20, if I sell to a Porsche dealer they can resell without invalidating that CPO, so new owner would have no assurance that the tires, brakes, etc. meet cpo standards, and that date would remain valid, right?

I don't think even a P dealer can resell a CPO without re certifying it, only in private sales.

completely understood......but i still would not pay more than $70k for that car, some other person might. you can find private party cars for less, albeit with more miles. i'm sure the car will trade $74k-$75 area, and to a happy new owner.

The question of when the CPO expires on this car is not trivial and should be clearly spelled out in writing by the selling dealer. To me at least, it could strongly affect the appeal of the car.

Current CPO does pass along through a Porsche dealer if car has it already (like private sale), or they can recertify for a fresh 2yr.

I called the dealership on the 2013 C2S. The warranty was punched 12/2013. The 2 year CPO is added to the warranty and is good until 12/2019. Should I ask to have the CPO renewed for a 2 year period? Is that common?
The car was initially bought in Texas. It has been serviced at Porsche dealerships only. It was traded in 5 weeks ago for a 2018. It has had the 10,000 mile service. Getting and Over Rev report. Ill let you know what it shows.

Range 1-- 51 Ignitions 166.83 hours
Range 2-6-- 0 Ignitions.

All panels read 75 for paint depth. I assume that is microns.
The major service has been performed. Plugs changed, oil changed, brake fluid changed.all filters changed. Service performed April 2018

Things look good. My only concern is the 166 hours range 1 OverRevs. Do you guys think this is a deal breaker? What does range 1 over rev mean? Was the car tracked?

Not worth it to re certify to get 6 months more warranty, it would cost too much and they'd have to pass it on to you. Range 1 means it was red-lined, but not over. Aggressive driving, but no "money shift"

Maybe i'm wrong, but 51 ignitions seems low. The hours is when it happened. You'd need to know total hours to know how long ago. 169 is pretty recent probably.
