Default Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Been w/o my 991.2S for a week now (faulty airbag controller) and I miss it. Had sort of been taking her for granted but I really miss the car. Probably good to have been w/o for a minute. These cars are pretty special.

I feel you...my 991.2 GTS with less than 400 miles is getting tint and PPF. Been gone almost a week, and I’m definitely going through withdrawal. Can’t wait to get it back and drive it!
And why is it that even after actually purchasing a car, I can’t stop looking at RList?

I'm suffering from the same separation anxiety - two weeks+ of downtime w an axle issue. Stay strong.

Totally agree. When my prior 3.4 L C2 cab was in the shop after someone turned left in front of me, I was without the car for six weeks. During that time, I realized how much I loved that car. Even after coming home from a vacation, getting in the car, it feels so different from any rental car I have ever driven. So planted, so low to the ground, the sounds, the smells. Ahh - what a blessing to drive such an awesome car!

Reminds me of when I lived in the snow belt and stored my sports car for 4-5 months to avoid the salt.
Always waiting for the last spring thaw to get the car out.
