The PDK is software controlled. Sounds like it needed a reboot, like when your computer freezes. Given the amount of software control in these cars, the only thing that surprises me is how reliable they actually are. Still, the fear of a $15-20K repair bill if the PDK goes south is what will almost certainly push me to an extended warranty once the CPO warranty on my C2S cab runs out . . .
