Frustrated trying to load the Jukebox with music from my iPhone. I have communications between the two and can play music from my phone through the PCM, but I can’t seem to get the Jukebox to give me the “import music” prompt. User error is a distinct possibility here - any suggestions?
I believe you have to download to a thumb drive first, rather than directly from your phone. Above link worked for me, and I'm an analog guy in a digital world
I tried this on my 2010 Wrangler. It’s a PITA. All my music on my Mac is uncompressed. If I first need down downgrade it to 320kbs it kind of defeats the purpose? I know I can make a separate file , and then delete it but way to time consuming for only 40GB. I just plus in a 160gb IPod classic.
I used a thumb drive to transfer also ... by copying my files from iTunes directories on my Mac (11GBs of Jukebox music) ... this moved the music files with album covers. Works great!

I am having difficulties storing from my CDs or DVD though the instruction manual suggests this should be possible (and this has been always possible in my current and prior vehicles with a Jukebox. Is anyone able to upload songs directly from their CDs or upload DVDs? Here's a screenshot of my options with a CD inserted. I do not have the song or album import option. I do however have it when I use a thumb drive, though in one instance the thumb drive refused to load (it was fully inserted and not wobbly). After a restart, it loaded normally.

I don't believe you can do this from an iphone on either the .1 or .2 cars. I used a SD disk on my .2 and a thumb drive for my 981. It went really quick.
