Brand new PDK (YAY!) / Manual shifts take longer (argh). Also, do I need to break in?

Okay so in my situation the auto shifts in sport and sport+ are crisp from the get go but slow in manual (about 1 second) until the car warms up fully.

At that point the shifts in manual mode become crisper over time (1/2 hour), especially in sport+.

Downshifts are instantaneous from the start.

I take it this is normal?

Wow. Is pdk replacement really 20k? That’s ridiculous. I’m glad to hear the cost is on Porsche’s dime. Glad mine is still under warranty.

Yeah normal. 30min seems a little long but if your commute is low speed then maybe it takes that long for your temps to come up.

No, no my temps come up in 5-10mins...the manual PDK shifts take 20-30 mins to become crisp/quick in sport mode.

Have timed repeatedly.
