I think you will win that bet, i think on the Pzero's, they were 42 or 43 in the rears, thats how they came from shop. If I may ask, how will going down to 38/39 change things? This is my first (real) car I have really driven hard, so i am no tire/performance guru (at least not yet), so insight would be greatly appreciated.
2015 GTS MT with 18 way seats, sunroof, alcantara in Los Angeles are just beyond, its really mind blowing how much fun this car is. And I love these forums, so much info!!!

Well, in your prior posts, you said the rear felt loose, and stumbled at apex, when you stabbed the throttle. Most of this is due to the tires still having mold release on them. I also think the stumble you are feeling is the PSM kicking in, to keep the car somewhat straight, but I could be wrong. The lower rear tire pressures will give you a better footprint, and grip. Porsche says +40 for high load and high speed, and for MPG reasons.
Ok, so 25 miles driven on 101 with replaced rear tires, feel a very good so far, no vibrations. Pressure 36/39 actually.
good start and very excited.
go to the tpm screen on the dash in the PCM and enter that and make sure right wheel size and tire type are selected - then select comfort pressure. save that. then go all the way into the screens until you see the it telling you to add or remove pressure. adjust till they are at zero or so. see how that feels. i know I find those pressures much better. And they are still probably lower than where you are at.

As long as you like the ride with those pressures. They are slightly lower than full load, normal settings.
I have mine set at 29/33 cold and they climb to 31/35 after 20 minutes or so in cool weather in New England. Summers, I think the pressures will up another couple of psi. Ride is nice on bad roads at these pressures and plenty of grip.

ok, this was all set already. Fronts at 36, tears at 39, good?
Quick update, after driving to local appts, took car from Santa Monica, up PCH, Las Virgenes, Mulholland and Kanan blvds, put on about 70 miles and so far, car feels great. No vibrations, quieter vs pzero, handled pretty well, just feels really good I have to say. I didn't punch it, just took nice fun trek though the mountains. Looking forward to getting these broken in and really having some serious fun. Tires 36 front, 39 rears.
