Default Photos from PCA Potomac Trip to Hershey Swap Meet

Here are a few photos from our trip last weekend. We had a great time driving through the Maryland countryside, lunch, and a stop at an ice cream shop. We had a dozen cars traveling together including Hurricane's beautiful new GTS and a
Carrera T. I would guess there were over 500 cars there.

Great additions, Hurricane!

I spoke with that guy selling the mint green 911. I helped a friend of mine buy one years ago and thought it could be the same one as it's a rare color. However, the owner was from Montreal and had driven down to sell it. I am not sure how he expected to do that given the import and title regulations.

If I remember right, he was asking $90k on the window. I loved the car, though - it looked gorgeous (I took a couple more pics of it from different angles). Reminded me of the late 70s/early 80s 911 that my dad test drove when we were stationed in Germany in the early 80s - my first exposure to a 911. It was also green and I remember that he wound up not getting it because it was German specs (and possibly either expensive or impossible to Federalize to bring back to the states at the time).

I am heading up to Northern PA for a meeting and expect it will be even worse. Generally, they are at least two weeks behind. It's too bad it's going to rain as I wanted to take the 911.

I have a good rainy weather car. I have to drive up Route 15 with lots of trucks, so all I will see is tire spray. It's just not fun. If I were taking country roads up, yes indeed!
