Glad you found a solution, I recall reading your post right after it happened, I would have freaked out over this too. The new wheels look great.

Thanks guys. Glad it had a good outcome. I was most definitely freaked after spending all of that $$. I do really enjoy the car, more than I thought possible.

I joined the wheel lathe club this morning. 225 miles on the clock and got caught in a section of Lime Creek road in Austin with chip and seal. Found a place to turn around got back onto good pavement, but had a rock up in there. Stopping at a stop sign and heard it. Wife says "what was that". Passenger front is nicely pin-striped. I will probably just see if I can make the stripe less noticeable. Dont even want to look at the caliper.

Now that I have that out of the way.... !

I have a Turbo s with centre locks and PCCB. Both front wheels scored within a couple of months. Not happy but what can you do? I'm not buying new wheels!
