Thanks and yes, I know. The question is do I need this ALP add-on and would it integrate with Ci360 seamlessly..
As for NJ, I feel for you

I get lasered on a regular basis in the beautiful state of NJ. Highest real estate taxes, horrible road quality, and aggressive speed limit enforcement, just the best state all around
Almost as much fun as Virginia, where anything over the speed limit by 20 mph, or over 80 anywhere, is wreckless driving. Get one of those and you will need an an attorney as one potential outcome is jail time (no kidding!). Driving a high performance vehicle here totally sux.

This is the best. The rest are toys in comparison. But like most things, if you want the best, you have to pay.

I've had a Valentine One since they came out in the early 90's, and a Passport and SOLO before that. I've read the R1 and R3 are suppose to be great, I just can't part with my V1. I did bite the bullet after I got my 911 and paid up for a Blendmount, they are probably over priced, but they look the part, and are well made. As people have said above you get what you pay for, and we all tend to buy quality. For JG 996T you may want look into a laser jammer, that is where I did step it up, after getting my 911, in Dec 2017. I don't use it to go blazing around at triple digit speeds, but for 85, to occasionally a little faster, its a nice piece of insurance on top of a detector. I went with AL Priority which is the best from what my research told me, and the only one that protects against all guns including the DragonEye. I won't go on and on about jammer in a Radar Detector thread, but its really nice to have, and worth looking into. Safe driving and good luck to everyone avoiding the LEO' s, lidar, and radar!

Stinger performance is very dependent on the antenna location on the car.

I use the Stinger in certain states and countries where stealth is of utmost importance but in regular daily use my R3 on the windshield outperforms my Stinger (inside the bumper). For most I'm fairly sure the Stinger wouldn't be worth it over an R3.

Radar detectors are illegal in our country. They will confiscate and even impound if caught. The other thing is the Stingers talk to other Stingers, so great on group runs. If someone up ahead brakes hard suddenly, or gets any alarms, it sends it back through the group. Also the learning capacity to eliminate false alarms. And the up grades to have front and rear lazer protection. I want to fit all this to my GTS. Its a nanny state where I live and they want every cent of revenue.

The Escort's are speak to each other now too with the Escort Live App. It is a great additional feature, similar to WAZE except the detectors do the work for inputting the information. I have found the new Escort system with up to date firmware to be the best all around, effective laser shifting as well. Anyone do head to head with ALP and Escort max Ci running newest firmware?
