Have searched and looked at many threads on installers and have seen two in the Chicago area - LUSTR Detail and Design Shielding. Any recent experience with either one of them? Looking to get my car done when it arrives in May. Thanks for the feedback!
Based on the recommendations from this forum I have an appointment to get my car done at Lustr Detail in May. Ivan was very helpful with answering my questions and addressing any concerns/expectations I had.
Thanks for the feedback - Ivan has been good to talk to about options they offer. Now trying to get there to see some cars they have done or are working on.
Same here... LexVan pointed me to Lustr and couldn't have been happier. Ivan took great care of my GTS. Drove straight from dealership delivery. Recommend without hesitation
+1 for Lustr. Ivan did full front wrap (Suntek) and whole car coating (CQuartz Pro) and couldn't be happier. Will be replacing my daily driver later this year and 1 stop will be Lustr.
One vote for rob @ designshielding. I have had about 10 cars done with him, including my m3s, macan, and most recent 911. He has nothing but been flat out amazing. He is professional and hand cuts all his film. He wraps around all edges. He is super Ocdand doesn’t stop until the job is done perfect. Ivan @lustr’s work is good but I think rob gets the nod and he comes to you. Feel free to pm me for more info.

Thanks. I don't have PPF. But I did have the factory rear quarter stone guards removed and replaced with a custom larger piece, because the factory ones yellowed against the white paint. I don't remember what film they used.
Lustr has done all my paint correction work and ceramic coatings. Twice I've had OptiCoat Pro and most recently CQuartz. I have it done every two years.

Another vote for Rob. I was impressed with his attention to detail and how well he hides the seams! He'll offer to come to your house and install in your garage. ??
