Default Bouncing Windshield Wipers...

So I have new wipers and now that it is raining in So Cal, I am having the basic problem of not smooth wipers. I have clayed and waxed my front windshield and add rain repellent window cleaner, but it still does not make my wipers work smoothly over the surface. Any advice what to put on the windows so they work like proper wipers and not hop . Thanks in advance.

Clay windshield again.

Clean with 2:1 distilled water and denatured alcohol. And stop using washer fluid with rain repellent.

I assume your blades are new and OE Porsche.

Consider using Aquapel. See my thread from December.

Waxing your windshield could be your problem. Clean as LexVan states, and make sure to clean your new blades too as they likely have wax buildup on them.

If you ever put any coating on your windshield you need to apply it to the wiper blades as well. Do this and you will fix your issue.

Like others said, wax is a common cause of chatter. Leave that step off. I'd bet it will go away if you just clean the windshield and blades with alcohol solution as recommended.
