Expected discount on a leftover 2017 S cab
Just looking for some opinions on what type of discount I should expect on a new 2017 S cab. My first thought is that its a year old and thus it should be pretty heavy.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Bought mine about a month ago. Got ~17% off. A lot of variables come into to play. Color combination options, millage, warranty punched, where is the car located etc. Good Luck

Thanks for the responses.
Mostly standard build PDK, Prem+, Sports pack, BOSE, Guards Red, the warranty has NOT been punched, it's in Houston (where its well into CAB weather). I'm 90% on the build, so I want it but I can wait if I cant make the deal happen. While I really enjoy the cars, getting a great deal is like the cherry on top that makes it just so much sweeter. :-)
I'll start off at 18% and see where they go, but I suspect it's going to be difficult.

GL. I was somewhat surprised at the deal I got. Yea I missed a couple of months on the warranty (punched 2 months prior) but it only had 22 miles on it. To top it off the dealer has only one 2018 Cab S in stock.

For a good deal, try Winn Miller @ Suncoast.

Perhaps the market has changed. I know allocations are slim and few between now. I got 5% off +$3,000 European Delivery on an ordered 2018 about 10 months ago. 3.5% off on a 2017 is nothing. Maybe they THINK they can sell it for that?

So this will be good for a nice laugh. I contacted the sister dealer for Porsche North Houston and bought the same car I was told I could only get that 5k discount for 15% off... Big props to Porsche St. Louis! The deal took 5 min to negotiate, no BS, no Drama, the way it should always be.

You should be able to get 20%. They are at the end of their rope with carrying charges and want to get rid of it. If it does not sell soon it might go to auction. Those are the circumstances with which I got 20% off an unpunched 1 year old cab. It was going on a truck the next day headed for auction. The only difference is I bought mine in the late Fall and they were looking at 6 months of no sale. In your case the weather is improving so maybe they will wait a while longer.
