Its a regular production model. If you want one you should be able to order it and get the same discount as a Carrera

I'm not too sure about that. I don't think there are that many allocations available, and with 911 supply drying up in the US, prices are getting very firm. Even more on a low allocation model like the T.
For reference, there were only 6 T allocations for ALL of Houston.

There is very little demand for the T.

I see a lot of interest on this forum, naturally, but don't notice much hoopla for it at dealers I've visited recently myself. I can speak for myself as to why I'm not a buyer, as well have my personal theories as to why market reaction would be soft.
Such an oddity to me, when I learned of that. Even my 2012.5 base has PTV+. Not saying it NEEDS PTV+, but don't get why it's not available on the PDK. "Purity" can't be the excuse, because.... well, let's be honest.

I think Porsche tried really hard to keep a 3k difference between the T and the S and skimped on brakes and the lsd (with pdk) to justify the price difference. Its the genious marketing department at work keeping us saying, "why dont i just get an S, oh wait for $x k more i can get a gts, oh wait for $x k more i can get a turbo"

Very few allocations, no real promotion/short of UTube. Somebody said 6-7 for all of Houston which is a major Porsche market. This car could be a hit because of what it is and very low production, or not but I see nothing in between from a price point and apparent low production numbers. And last I heard Targa's were selling well even though they are not a GT.

I was told there was only going to be about 70 allocation in all of Canada. Less than GT3's
Not sure how high the demand is in Canada but I have mine on order in Toronto.
Hoping the resale value will be good in a couple years when I trade it on a GT car

I had to scramble back in the last week of October to get a dealer that had an open allocation in Maryland. The dealer I found told me two weeks ago that they also were getting fewer T allocations than GT3's.

Over on one of the UK forums - pistonheads, I think - in Dec one of the OPCs claimed T production numbers were likely to be very low and would depend on demand - that Porsche had estimated 800-1200 cars globally and would match production to actual demand within that range.
cheers!
