I can report that at least one someone would agree with the ^.

Spent 1,100 miles in a CGT on great roads plus time on a couple of race tracks. My only regret is that I actually tried to put in a few hours of work at the office that week. Ditto for the 918, on the same roads and three race tracks. Also spent extensive time in 991 Turbo, GT2 RS, etc—more or less everything since the CGT. And I'd take a CGT over any of them if cost and maintenance are non-issues. The only 911s that come close are the Ruf CTR and 997 RS 4.0, but they're still distant challengers. Once the bulk of the CGT's intimidation factor wears off (took about 300 miles in my case), it's truly a spiritual experience.

Man, that dealer has one hell of a lot of money on his showroom floor. I'm surprised that no enterprising professional thief hasn't paid a visit to that dealership around 3:00 AM.

That thief would have to choose from the Lamborghini and Rolls Royce dealerships right next door and I'm sure all those lots have plenty of security. PNH is a wonderful candy store, y'all should stop by the Lamborghini store sometime too, I bought my Denali from Lamborghini Houston all around great folks at Indigo.

Oh, and a 918, just in case that's your flavor.

Not to mention a few .1 GT3 RS's. A .2 GT3 Manual in Arrow Blue. A .2 GT3 Touring. A pair of 997 GT2's. Etc.

My dealer is dangerous to visit.
lol My wife and I stop at Porsche North Houston every time we drive into town... I agree it is a dangerous place

On my last visit to Houston, I had a friend of mine take me around the North Houston dealership. Really a special place.. If you get close to it, you need to drop by. I've only been to three dealerships that compare; Park Place in Dallas, The Collection in Coral Gables and Champion in Pompano Beach. Porsche Austin will be entering that arena in the next two years with their own 5 story palace.
