It doesnt give you the launch control icon but it has a rev limiter at 4200 rpm and you can launch the manual. I think you only get this with sport plus. Maybe someone else can confirm

I agree that the yellow gauges might get tiring - they are CRAZY bright - also that $1,280 might be better spent elsewhere. I also understand not wanting to go black on black on black as well, there are so many (including one at my house ... not my first choice).
Also looking at your build just reminded me how hard it is to keep the price of these down!
Best of lucking finding an allocation. My dealer was just saying how ridiculously hard C2's are to get right now.

Did get some very solid advice though!

The 4200 rpm launch rev limit has nothing to do with SC. It's an unfortunate feature on all manual 991.2s However the manual transmission is excellent. Can't see why anyone would choose the PDK, unless they were commuting in LA.

I'm a recent owner of a Manual 991.2. Though I haven't driven the 991 Manual, I can say that I love my CAR! I have previously only had 5-speed manuals and didn't have any issues getting on w 7. Most press journalists also have mentioned the transmission in 991.2 is better than previous version; but then again i haven't heard any issues from 991 owners here so...
Haven't launched my car and don't really plan too. Also I have the 4way sports and rec getting those. I have 14-way in my Macan, and have sat in 18-ways. I like the 4s believe they weigh less. Since you mentioned it is a weekend car I wouldn't bother w/ 14. Save where you can and get options you will most value.
I lv my car, good luck getting yours!

SC might be nice to have, but does not do as much in a MT car compared to PDK.
And like others have said, full leather makes a big difference.
ps. you chose the best color.

Definitely unfortunate it doesnt rev to 6000+ like the pdk. It doesnt launch as fast but I figured they programmed the rev limit to a lower rpm to protect the dry clutch (pdk is a wet clutch) from overheating and make it easier to shift out of 1st gear without bouncing off the rev limiter in the manual.

I like the yellow guages it makes it look more special. However...The only concern I have is visibility in the day. I have white guages amd they are a pain to see except at night. Otherwise look great.
Also, there is nothing wrong with your build, dude. I would try and keep it at 100k like you have, because once you start addidng more stuff you get into T or S territory... and thats a slippery slope. Before you know it you will be ordering a GTS. Lol.
