is 991 Key covered under CPO Warranty?
I bought my car used and it only came with one key. My car does have a CPO warranty until April of this year. My key has started "glitching". It seemed to not work to unlock the doors recently so I changed the battery and its still doing it. I will walk out and hit the unlock button and nothing...If I take the battery out and put it back in it seems to fix it for a few days but then it acts up again. Is the key covered under the warranty?
thanks,

I would thing so, after all, it is an essential part of the car.

Yes. Unless it's just the battery.

Did you buy your car from a private sale?
What was their reasoning to only give you one key?

Part of the CPO process is to provide two keys. Did you get your car from a private party with the CPO transferring? If you got it from a dealer, go back to them and make them provide you with a second programmed key for free as that is required for all CPO'd Porsches.

I purchased the car from a private party and transferred the CPO...he said he had two keys but when I went to pick up the car, he only had one. Said he'd mail me the other one but I followed up with him several times and he never mailed it.
I guess i'll make an appointment at the Porsche dealer.
thanks,
Mark

Would hate to hear someone came back after a sale to steal the car.
