Got my first 991.1 . Ship it or drive it? Miami to LA?

Create a memory for life, or pay someone else to truck it across the country? If I had the time—a very fortunate position all by itself—it wouldn't be a tough decision for me.
As for I-10, the trip will be what you make of it. Surely there are some alternate routes and stops, but one thing I notice every time I drive to LA is how much I like just being in the car and listening to music. It's a rare treat these days, and phone calls are often skipped.

PPF Drive It
Have someone PPF then drive it...I piked up my 964 and drove it with a buddy from little rock to Florida. Epic trip with a stop in Memphis at Rendevous.
I made the deal with my coworker.
991.1 PDK Carrera in atlas Grey. Only mod is Fabspeed Carrera supersport x pipe exhaust.
CPO until July 2018.
Now I am debating if I should drive it from Miami to Los Angeles (2700 miles) or ship it using Intercity or a similar company.
Car has 53k miles.
Thoughts?

It's already a higher mileage car so adding another few thousand isn't going to make the value dive. I haven't driven much of the route you would take so I can not speak for how interesting or boring it may be.
If I had the time, I would definitely drive it. Too low temperatures down south should not be a factor if you have summer tires on your new 911. Enjoy your car. Drive it!

Enjoy the drive, even the boring parts (which should be less boring with a sweet new 991). And like others suggested, find a few strategic detours to mix things up. You can get many suggestions here. And yes, I-10 sucks from Florida to central Texas (not too bad west of there, IMO).

Congrats!
