^ Thanks, and nicely handled with the monochrome crests.

I guess my question is whether the front wheels have flat or convex spokes—in other words, do the spoke bow outward?

I put a straight edge across the rim. The spokes are slightly convex, about ⅛" at the "Y".

I wanted to carry on from this informative thread,

I fitted the amazing FI-R's last week and here is my take on fitment and weight savings on my video.
The video is in Turkish but I added English subtitles.

Default BBS FI-R/HRE101 991.2 Help

Great thread, thoughts on what is the better (long-term wise) choice for an 18 991.2 GTS? I'm tossed between the BBS-FI R and the HRE101's (both in bronze on a carrera white otherwise stock GTS). Pricing comparable? Also wondering whether putting a set of these on will then need to lower it as well? Not adverse to lowering it, just zero experience with adding wheels and tires. Correct sizing?

Much appreciate any comments.

In terms of re-sale value and durability, both match each other very closely. The biggest differences between the two are their designs, fitments, and availability. The FI-R's have circular cuts on each spoke while the HRE's do not. The majority of people love it; some dislike it. Those that dislike it naturally pivot to the HRE's which they describe as having a "cleaner" design. From a fitment standpoint, the HRE's will fit better as they are custom built and can be ordered in a variety of different diameters, widths, and offsets. The BBS' are pre-made to one or two fitments for each model vehicle. And finally, the availability. Since the BBS' are made in large batches they are typically in-stock but if you look to buy on the tail end of the inventory running out then you must wait for them to make another batch (which is the situation we are in now). This can take many month to over a year. The HRE's are custom built to order and at the moment can be manufactured in as quickly as 2-4 weeks.

Neither of these wheels require you to lower the car. But lowering the car definitely will make the car look better no matter what wheels are on it. If you need further help on this let me know - it would be my pleasure to continue assisting you further.
