Why hasn't this 2017 991.2 4S Sold?

Jeez- come on team. The murder weapon is right on the console. No heated or ventilated seats. Who would order a 4S without heated seats at least? And in FL you need ventilated seats. Car is dead on arrival without the steepest discount. The red is not the culprit here, but it does narrow the interested parties.

Dealers seem to typically stock cars with asinine options. I never saw a 911 on the lot I was willing to buy. Instead got an allocation and got the car with the options I wanted.
There are so many things that are wrong in this car for me starting with the seats, the colors, the options etc. BTW, my ordered 991.2 4s was 125k and I got the car I wanted. Not some sales guy's dream build. Why buy options and colors that you don't want on a 125k car?

Yes everyone knows that. But whereas the 997 AWD/GTS added a fender flare at location B, making the entire badonka-donk wider giving it a much flatter and sexier shelf on top vs the 2/2S, in the 991 the fender flare is only at location A, making it I guess a little better looking? But the overall the same shape of shelf on top so really pretty meh of a change in terms of body shape/sexiness.

On an unrelated note, the 4 way seats on this car does seem odd in light of the other options.

Very true. I’d love to be able to buy a NA car with a dewinged versuon of that bottom.
My point is that due to the difference in where the width is translated onto the car, the delta in desireability of the wider body 991 is much less than the delta in desireability of the wider bodied 997.
I don’t mean to sound rude, but if we’re talking about 991 model differences, why would I care about what the fender is like on a 997? The only thing I wrote is that having a C4S in Florida isn’t necessarily about the functional AWD aspect, but that the wider body is a reason why people buy the C4S.

I bought one of the certified 17 4s' from them last November at almost $30k off the sticker. So if you like the car you can definitely knock the price down if they need to move the unit. They are great to work with picked me up at the airport and delivered the car to my home in NY. They have my cars twin for sale for more money than I paid....

Agree! And it rains HARD in Florida! Awd is nice there too! No Ventilated seats, 4ways, and red interior is why! And none of those can be added or changed easliy! Not like adding PSE!

I am constantly amazed at how people spec their cars. I have learned that NO option "makes sense" objectively- I have seen so many custom builds I would NEVER have myself, and I don't post my build bc I have seen enough arguments about the options I like to know that people will always take that tone they have when they say, "I wouldn't have done it that way, but it's not my car..."
