For instance if they go back to fried egg taillights, you can expect the 991.2 prices to stay strong.
Perhaps it is wise to wait for the release before investigating the pre-owned market 😛

it’ll cost you having fun now.

I was sure the GT3 market would impolite with the 4.0 and manuals released but it remains strong for the 3.8 although a 10 year 120k warranty didn’t hurt them.

the #1 cars increasing and holding strong at the release of the #2 cars is an anomaly for any contemporary, mass produced car.

Taste is such a funny thing. I was reading today about how the terrible awful ugly grill is killing lexus sales:

https://jalopnik.com/is-the-spindle-...les-1822300581

Which go me is an obvious no-brainer, then I scroll down to the comments and see this:

If you don’t like the predator grille, you are old (at heart).

The spindle grille looks ****ing amazing on everything they make. If you disagree, you are wrong (and old).

...

Nobody else (except maybe Aston) makes a prettier car than the LC.
And I’m like wow. Personally I think a grill in the shape of the poop emoji would be about as attractive as the Lexus grill but are certain tastes better or worse than others? I don’t know. I mean I much prefer blue cars to red cars PERSONALLY but don’t feel like blue is actually better, that just seems like preference. The Lexus grill seems somehow a different category to me but maybe it’s the same thing?

Edit: I swear I wasn’t plagerizing by comparing the grill to the poop emoji I hadn’t read your other post yet R-Rated.

I’ll take a guess. -$10k across the board.

.2’s will take a usual dip when new cars come out. The new car isn’t really giving the .2 a “last of” card to hold (i.e the classic formula to mitigate 911 deprecation). Same engines (FI) and all that. Unless the interior is too tech luxury and not well received. N/A cars will fare better naturally, as they’ll by all accounts get to keep said card.

Could be the last of the vacuum cleaner sounding cars if they can get an engineer from AMG to come show hem how it's done. 996 was last of the fried egg headlights.

Oh - you mean last of something that people actually wanted.

Things that might make the 991.2 appreciate when the 992 comes out

1. No more manual transmission
2. Carrera and Carrera S get 4-cylinder turbo hybrid engines
3. The Panamera/Cayenne interior
