Default Might be moving to St louis area - where is the closest Road Course?!

Fellow rennlisters,
I move around a lot for my chosen career and love to track my cars. I'm in Oklahoma (OKC) right now which has access to Hallet Raceway (awesome track, family owned and run!). Lived in Portland before which had Portland international Raceway (another good track 15 minutes from my house). Seattle had SIR - it was okay-... Los Angeles basically had the foothills (sucked no track other than willow) but hey hometown!
I've tried google searching but could not find a single thing?!?
Is the closest track Heartland in Topeka? 4 Hour drive from the city. I was going to go there this year from OKC if I didn't move anyways (I've heard it is pretty much best track in the midwest).

Love to drive my car and don't own a trailer yet... sounds like it might be trailer time..sigh

The closest is Gateway but there are many within 4-6 hours including Autobahn, Heartland Park, NCM.... just to name a few. Look up NASA Central, MVP Racetime and of course the PCA we have a track midewst list of events 50 long!

Best of luck with your move, feel free to send me you email and I can send the PCA Track Midwest List to you.

Thanks for the response!
Nice to see Gateway isn't just a circle track,
My move is far from firm yet, but if it happens I feel much better now!
I'll pm you my email.

Follow Rennlister BradB to the places he goes to. To include Road America.

And go check out the back roads around Augusta, Defiance, and Herman, MO. Awesome!

Thanks LexVan! Nothing in stone yet on the move but expect to know within the next two weeks.
I'm looking at the parade regardless!

I haven't even started looking that deeply into it yet, Not counting chickens before they hatch.
(my job always has me traveling all over the city, home office - regional office Dallas).
Last time I almost moved to Detroit and it didn't work out to my liking (ended up in OKC 1 month later). 2 years later in OKC where I'm at now.
But will update as this moves forward.

I’ve lived in St. Louis 30 years after coming from Michigan originally. Our Porsche club here sponsors two drivers ed events a year at Gateway National which I’ve done once in the past and was very fun. Haven’t tracked my C2 due to some neck issues. We have enjoyed living here. Clayton and Ladue are good school districts. Feel free to private message me for details. Welcome!

Seems like I heard good things about Ferguson in the news a couple years ago. Might want to check that out.

The St Louis PCA organizes great DE's at Gateway.
Professional, Safe, and fun.
Other clubs also hold DE's.
Very active track.
