Default Front lip spoiler ( small scrape)

Hey guys. So I have talked w Suncoast and for some reason they DO NOT sell the OEM black plastic front lip. They told me they have been in touch w Porsche and they just dont sell them. Makes zero sense. They only sell the paintable version. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU992GTSLIP.html

Well anyway the scratch isnt huge or very noticable unless you get down but I know its there and drivn me crazy. I have heard the technique of using a heat gun. Anyone care to chime in?

Can you post a picture of your scrapes? Just sand it with 220 grit, and hit it with some Aerospace 303. Depending on the location.

What spoiler lip do you want? The Aerokit one or the one that came with PDCC?

I know they sell both for #1 but thought they sold both the #2 also?

We need pics so we can tell him how he should think.

Scotty, sand it with 220, and 330. Hit with the 303, and stop looking there. And stop parking so tight.

Light sand paper and some plastic cleaner will do the trick.

Since you have a GTS, the standard lips won't work.

Here is one that is Primered for your car. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU992GTSLIP.html Easy enough to rattle can black if you want a new one. If you paint it with some flat rustoleum then it will be easy to touch up in the future. Texture on rustoleum will be almost identical to what you have.

Of course.... could also just sand and rustoleum what you have with no problem too.

It's black plastic, right? Spot sand. The less you sand, the better. Might need to start with 150. The paper will clog fast from the plastic. Finish with a 400-ish, 500-ish, or 600-ish grit. Depending on the look and your level of satisfaction.

That scrape is not worth buying a new one. Some delicate sanding as mentioned will do the trick.
