Design-wise it is the Sunroof in Glass configuration. But since the roof stripes block much of the sky view thru the glass, the glass was replaced with steel. I never slide mine open, but almost always drive and park with the back tilted up for ventilation and for those sweet engine, exhaust and turbo sounds. Surprisingly, it doesn't get any rain inside when parked, unless it's heavy wind-blown rain from the back. Even then and only once, it got a few drops of water inside.

They were used on the factory GT race team cars for a while. It's kinda fun for me to watch even old timer OCA guys try to figure them out. Many Porsche guys have no clue.

Wow. That’s 25k higher than the 996GT3 with only 400 miles sold at same auction. The endurance edition is nothing but a sticker package. There are zero performance upgrades nor any upgrades for endurance nor technology. Seller did very well. Buyers remorse in a few hours is likely.

Saw the auction too. An earlier Black one went to The Bid Goes On when the auction stalled at $100k. Didn’t get the reserve expectation. And that was appropriate, and refreshing. It’s not worth north of what every other 991.2s from that year see in resale today.

991.2S, nice ride. 991.2S with stickers, badge, paint, a classic does not make.

The white one is stick and not many of those, 165k seems high but its what the market will pay. They are basically a 991.2S with nice touches, but all the carbon fiber and specific touches separate it from every other 991.2S. The value is what people will pay: This one going at 165k and lets assuming other goes for 100k are both selling over what a 2016/2017 991.2S would so the market is paying more. I paid 92k for mine (last year) but Range Rover dealer did not know what they had either. Your trying to value these on the specific options I think when its not really that simple.

2-3k miles. My sales price was 92-93k. Unsure what the market for these will be in 5-10 years but guess we will find out. We can debate all day if its worth this or that but people will sometimes pay more for stuff that maybe does not make sense, look at watches the past 5 years. Look at the white manual endurance edition 160k+

and yes, besides the surprise dents in the rear quarter, the seat was “repaired”. Looks like crap and dealer tried to tell me it was armour all!
Look like that seat had something applied to it that has effected the pores of the perforations, changing the color of the perfs. A toothpick in the perforation gently twisted will likely sort that out. Initially it looks like a leather stain but more likely a perforation color change. The perfs look whitish when clean and when something has been applied, they look much darker.

You did well to buy at that price. The sales mgr at Fields Motor Cars told me he tried to buy one at auction. He bid $108 and was outbid.
The one auctioned at Barrett Jackson is less, with the manual, but got a lot more. Scarcity seems to be asserting. Supposedly only 3 were built with the manual.
Im enjoying mine.

Nice! Good for you. Most 2017 C2Ss with low mileage are going for more than that now especially with $138k builds (- the 14k of ERE options). The last ERE is for sale in Miami used with 5k miles and they won't budge off of $102k price. I've been trying to get them down on price for a buddy of mine that just loves my build and the white ERE actually isn't ugly like mine was (mine was black).

Did you have to do any decal removal?

I'm please to see 2017 C2Ss holding value since the 992 came out. The 992 is very expensive. My dealer has been sitting on a beautiful red one for a while. It has the nice front bumper.
