Boy, that's a car hood only a mother could love. A blind mom.

(1) Call fancy auction house. One of the Big 3. There is still time to consign for Amelia.
(2) Talk to their Porsche specialists. I guarantee all 3 have Porsche anoraks who know exactly what this package is. Sure, it’s cosmetic, but it’s a real limited edition.
(3) Have fancy auction house take dramatic professional photos.
(4) Catalog it no reserve (since it’ll have to be - it’s entry-level pricing by Amelia auctions standards) as “brand-new, MSO, in-the-wrapper 47 Miles 991.2 Endurance Edition, one of 100, possibly the last new one in the US.”
(5) Enjoy the sound of the hammer falling for at least $120, possibly more.
Sure, there will be transportation, consignments fee, and sellers premium for the dealer to bear. But modern limited Porsche’s are hot now. Especially with Delivery miles. Some buyers collect them all. That’s the way to sell this car.

Thank you for all the feedback. I agree the advertising of this Endurance package could help. I've told them their website needs a lot of work. Listening to customer advice might help a little, I imagine website changes falls in the general managers hands. I like the idea of making it a demo. I'll pass on the feedback. Thanks again.

Advertising it as the Endurance Package will do nothing. People who know these cars know it's a joke. And those who don't, just think they're ugly.
Tell him to pull the stickers off and sell it as a used car that had a goofy sticker kit removed. I'm shocked Porsche ever sold even one of these abominations to some poor soul.

Anyone else feel like this thread is a backdoor way for a non Rennlist sponsor to advertise and post a "for sale" ad?

Thanks Gents - no I'm a member just trying to help a friend. Been a member for years. Just bought my seventh Porsche from a Rennlister and had my dealer actually manage the whole transaction for me since it had to be shipped across the country. He was just asking my advice which actually is pretty cool, novel idea asking a customer what they think. Can you imagine if more companies did that. Geez don't be so cynical. There are actual nice people still left in the world I think. I agree the car itself deserves to be beat up with the ugly decals, heck he agrees. I'll go crawl back into the Cayenne and 997 forums. Thanks to those that helped.

So I see that there were only 73 of these limited-edition builds brought into the US. So to some extent I can see their reluctance to pull the stripes off of such a car. Then they'd end up a supposedly special car that has lost the most visible hallmark of its... ahem... "specialness." A semi-stripped special edition car might be an even more awkward car to sell??? I saw one in person out at COTA and wasn't at all impressed with the look though.
Where they really blew it with this supposed homage to racing was any performance-related upgrades... now that would be more of an nod to racing and make it more appealing. What were they thinking!?! But yeah, you'd think they'd give up on it after a while and cut their losses. Maybe Porsche won't allow it?
One thing that was new to the 991.2 cars was the addition of the P3P Sport Package shown on the sticker. This rolls up Sport Chrono, PSE, rear axle steering, sport-design mirrors, the smaller paddle-shift steering wheel, dynamic engine mounts (if not already an S), and the track app on the PCM.

It's a great build, and if you can get it at the right price great. Just take off those hideous stickers.
$110K Would be an awesome price.
You have to figure that you're paying an extra $14,000 just for a sticker package where you would you have to deduct from the value proposition.
