I'm in the market and would love to see more Carmine Red 911s.
Share some thoughts. How do you like the color. Is it easy to care for? Why did you choose this color?
thanks!

991.1 GTS. I really love carmine. Looks very red in bright sunlight, but much better in darker-like dusk and night. i would say average maintenance, much easier to keep clean than black.

Here it is under flourescent lighting, where it goes a little orangey and fools people into thinking it's Guards. (Sorry for the ghetto Cayman... )
The interior has Carmine accents, but the belts and pull straps are called Guards by Porsche. They match amazingly well. Of course, if both were painted metal they wouldn't. Here is a belt against the Carmine paint:

2018 991.2. Turns a lot of heads, luckily so far has not turned the heads of the local finest
Carmine Red is easy peasy to keep clean. I chose it because this time I wanted a red 911, and as nice as Guards is, it is a little too orangey for me. The satin black wheels are a piece of cake to keep clean with the PCCB's.
Car now has clear side markers, and I apologize for the lighting of the interior shot. Stitching is GT Silver.

CR is a gorgeous color. A really nice deep red with no orange like in GR. It only goes with a black interior unfortunately.

This Carmine Red GTS Targa is sitting at Porsche Main Line in PA. I'd be on the phone with them but I think they are REALLY reaching on price. What a beauty.

Carmine Red, Etna Blue, and Signal Yellow are three favorite colors for me. I have Graphite Blue and would buy it again, but any 911 in those other 3 colors is a head turner for me.

Originally we ordered this car in graphite blue because we wanted to be low key. But I kept drooling over carmine red and my wife very smartly pointed out that these cars are going to turn heads no matter what color they are so just get it. I’m glad we did!
