Strike in Germany.
On Monday, more than 3,000 employees downed tools at sports car maker Porsche in Stuttgart, and around 400 at elevator maker OTIS in Berlin were expected to do likewise.

Crap.
Wonder how this will affect all allocations, whether they're on the line now or not.
Can they get caught up or will everything be pushed back?

Yeah....European strikes are not like here in the US....initial ones are for a few hours or less....then if things really get bad, they may go for a full 24 hour strike. Rarely do they ever turn into open ended strikes they tend to do here in the US.

I don't know what Porsche is going to do in the near future with ever increasing costs. Their MSRP has increased year over year and they're definitely pushing the ceiling as we're starting to see. Not to mention, car sales overall are slowing up. A bad combination.
Seeing some ridiculous Carrera S/GTS and even GT3 builds $$. With GT3's, getting harder for dealers to get bigger ADM's because MSRP's can easily push close to $200K.

Don't forget the $60k over MSRP that dealers are charging for GT3 allocations. The demand is good for GT3s...we don't ever see any of those sitting on the lot waiting to sell. It's the Base/S/GTS series that I worry about. People expect x% off these models. If the market slows, or if consumers steer away from Porsche in lieu of another brand due to labor instability (however unlikely) I'd expect to see more of these models sitting on the lot with corresponding less custom builds going back to Porsche.
I agree, MSRPs are going up, and we can expect that trend to continue...we're only a year out (or less) from the 992 being announced. I fully expect to see the 992 tip the scales even further with all the new technology going into them.
