I bought my 991.2 from them back in October, I live about 30 minutes away. Great dealership and an excellent service department. If you need other pics and it's still at the dealership let me know.

Thank you for offering help fanboy. I have already settled on the deal, so do not feel like asking you to spend an hour driving back and force, but truly appreciate.

Karl, unfortunately, not in California according to their finance manager.

I've brought 2 cars from out of state dealers into Calif. All you should need to do is a VIN verification at the DMV where an agent verifies the VIN and emissions sticker (which on a 911 is easy for them to find) and then get the car smogged at any smog station. Don't bother going into the DMV office just drive to the staging area for driver license tests and an agent will come out and fill out the form and give to you. No appt. needed & never had to wait more then 5 minutes. Try to find a smog station that will run a pretest to make sure you will pass. (they are not supposed to) The GTS wouldn't pass even after I drove it around for a week and I finally had a dealer reset all the emissions status settings with the PIWIS when car just wouldn't reset on it's own.

Thanks for the tip RDCR. If a car which is covered by Porsche warranty fails to pass the smog test, I assume it becomes a warranty issue and should be fixed by a dealer.

I live in the Columbus area so it would have been easy to go look at it. I exchanged emails with the dealer but went no further than that. I am half-heartedly looking. MT GTSs with the right options are few and far between. That one was a good one. Enjoy it. I love GT Silver. I've had it before. It's like liquid silver when polished up. I really liked the five lug wheels too. Now I'm doing a love it or list it on my 2012 cab. It seems ridiculous to spend $40k more for something with 30 HP more and no more torque. I may start modding it instead. I also have a Carrera T build slot for delivery in July if I want one.

Yes Terry, I know how it feels spending $40K (or more) on an upgrade. Have done it more than once lol. Best of luck to you once you decided to go for it, or enjoy your 2012 cab which is one great car I am sure.
And thank you, I too love GT silver. I had one before (a 997.1 CS)

The options on this GTS were exact the ones I'd spec myself, except I would've upgraded to full leather probably. However all my other musts including MT, Glass roof, 5-lug wheels, 10mm, exterior/interior color and Alcantara steering wheel and shift **** delete were checked by original owner. I really get lucky finding a car so close to what I'd spec myself. I only hope now it will come in an as advertised shape. OH winters made me worry, but the dealer assured me that there is no rust anywhere... we will see.

I've registered a car out of state and it was very easy here in CA. There are even services to do it for you in the Bay Area and you don't even have to go to the DMV! You get new plates right away too. Feel free to PM me. Smog is easy and depending where you live in the area, I can recommend one to you.

Finally!!! My GTS got delivered today at around 10pm.

Since I never saw the car I was anxious to take it for a ride. The engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electronics all work as expected.
Also very happy with the GTS power kit. It is substantially different comparing to my 991.1 C2S.

Quick ride on a freeway was all I needed to get home with I still wear I am HAPPY.
