Looking around at some 991.2 carreras, I see some of them have a graphic on the side with "911 carrera" near the bottom of the door. Why do some cars have this and others don't? tks

It's an option on all models. See the exterior section of the online configurator.

If you see a car you want that has the graphic but you don't like it, they are decals that can be removed. Conversely, the decals can be purchased and applied at some later date.

Does anyone have a pic of the rear badges as painted? It is an option, but never seen it life.

My GTS inbound in 3 weeks will have rear badges painted in exterior color. Graphite blue.
More subtle. A 600 $ option.

Select the option in the configurator and the preview images will show it.
