Dalian Highway, Panama Canal
For those of us whose cars are on the Dalian Highway (I think mine is, though not confirmed by my dealer), the vessel is passing through the Miraflores Locks right now. If interested you can see a live webcam at the Miraflores Locks webcam, and also track the ship on marinetraffic.com.
I just happened to come home at this time, and catch the ship going through the canal. I have previously obsessed about European Deliveries, and tracked the vessels, and watched them go through the canal if the timing worked. But this time, I am just enjoying watching the ship with my car on it, that is about a week away from San Diego. I am not sure why, but I find it really cool we can track the ship and also watch it live going through the canal.
My original ETA was mid February, so I am psyched that I will probably pick up the car in the first week of January or so.
(For those who think waiting for the car is difficult, DO NOT do a European Delivery; those six to eight weeks waiting for your car from Germany to the West Coast is torture. (I have done five BMW EDs, but no Porsches)).

My C2 is on the Dalian Highway as well, I agree - cool to be able to track the ship. There was a long period after it passed the Azores when no information was coming on the free trackingwebsite which was annoying. But I get it - you get what you pay for.

Thanks. It will take about a week to arrive at the Seattle dealer. I've already told my SA no front plate and to hold the car in the lot without prep if I am out of town until I bring it to my detailer. Have my grill screens in hand already.
