Has anyone with a 2012 or 2013 had the dealer do a forced update to add rev matching ? I' not even sure I want it but PCNA verified its just software.

Really? Did you contact them about this directly? My SA told me it wasn't possible due to a lack of sensors in the transmission. If this is true, I'll get the update just so long as it can be engaged when I want it to be, because doing it manually is fun too.

I did contact them diretly but who knows if the response I was given is correct. Someone on 6 speed said they had heard of a dealer providing a "forced update" but no specifics as to where it was done. I also sent a note to COBB as if it' software they should be able to update

I was told this same thing - can't update due to sensors in transmission. Do ALL the 2013s w/SC have this? Mine does but not sure if it was added for MY changeover or after..

I do not have any information other than a guy on 6 speed online saying he thought there was a forced update and PCNA stating that it was software not hardware. I too am interested in trying it out but do not know how. Also on 6 speed someone said they have a 2012 that has rev matching which is strange but not unheard of for Porsche to swap things among years. Hopefully one of the tuning companies can make a simple flash to provide the functionality.
