Tire Dry Rot, PZeros
Discovered Dry Rot on all four tires on my 2016 GTS.... car does not sit, is driven 4500 miles per year. Looking for advise on getting to Perelli to file warranty claim. To date just completely lost in phone option tree hell when I call. Others with experience/ ideas? Appreciate all input, Thanks Folks.

in other words, you have to buy more sh!tty tires that are going to do the same thing and incur the cost to ship yours in on good faith that Pirelli won’t find a reason to deny the warranty claim.
It is a very shady warranty process. Not one that promotes brand loyalty for sure.

Is your car garaged? I have a friend with a 981 which was always parked in a carport, and the afternoon sun would shine on the front tires. The front ones experienced what I would call severe dry rot, worse that what you have. The rears which got little sun had zero dry rot. Either way, this is unacceptable.

Thats after 3500 miles. It lives in a brick carport with a Porsche car cover and a Raines one over that which completely covers the tires. All four are like that. Pirelli was absolutely horrible to deal with. Wil not be buying their products alever again. Also replaced their crap on my 5 series and the improvement to Michelin was incredible.
Good luck with Pirelli, hope you can get an adjustment.

That is terrible. Another reason to dump the Pzeros and get Michelins for my C4S.

So jealous you got the michs on your GTS. Mine, which I recieved about the same time as you had the P zeros ( but at least the N1 version).

dog bucks, on the side of the tires is a DOT manufacturer date. Can you post a photo of it?

Not sure what the detailing history is of the car, but all those petroleum and silicone based tire dressings for shine dry rot tires. Typically enhanced by salty air and heat. Lot of folks that have their car detailed regularly find out the hard way.

I had a similar symptom on an Aston. Bought it, drove home 400 miles away and found the cracks. Tires were way under inflated by dealer and overheated at freeway speeds.
