Thinking about a 2013 911 Carrera S. Need some advice please.

Okay I received the service records. Looks like the last oil change was done on 06/2016 at 25,000 km. There were complaints about brake squealing on 11/2016, stalling on idle and excessive wind noise from driver's door on 01/2016,
front lip and rear wheel was refinished on 06/2015 and for some reason they performed the 30K maintenance then (at 17K), the horn and rear lid were not working on 12/2014, and they were supposed to perform some kind of vacuum
line replacement that was not completed because the car was out for a short term lease.
Also, the rear tires were replaced at 11,000 km.....is that normal for these tires?

I still look frequently, because I'm crazy like that. I'll let ya know if I come across anything! It'll be worth the wait. I'm kind of disappointed that I did find the right one at the end of the season. By the time my car got here, I only had less than 3 weeks of driving it. Very hard to look at it in the garage every day knowing I've only done like 700 km.

And thanks for keeping an eye out. I appreciate it.

This one seems pretty clean: https://porschelondon.com/ext/onepag...ory_id=1267107
Although it is not the S version and has the PDK.
Seems to have more options though.

This one is a beauty. Out of my price range though. And it's not red
How does the sales process work with Porsche? Is it kind of a take it or leave it proposition? I was able to negotiate very aggressively with Ford for my Mustang, and also with Lexus for my wife's car. But I assume Porsche is a different ball game (you either have the money or you don't).

The one at Marks is really nice. Don't know if this matters to you but it has been tracked and previous owner traded into a PDK so he could go faster. If you go with that one make sure you check the DME.

Over thanks for the heads up. I'd obviously prefer one that was not tracked or driven hard, but that is probably not realistic with a CPO 911 (unless it was grandma driven). Does Porsche check for over rev's when doing the CPO inspection?

My theory, to make myself feel better, is that this car has such ludicrously tall gearing that the chances of an overrev should be fairly minimal. 2nd gear is something like 127 km/h.
That car is super nice for sure. You could always do a greasy lowball offer letting them know that you know its been tracked

As far as I know, DME isn't part of the CPO process.

But that's why I was wondering how you guys handled the negotiation process when buying your cars. Do they ever give any wiggle room on price?
