Brake and Tire Life
All,
Please share your BRAKE and TIRE life for C2, C2S and C4S.
Seeking to purchase a 991.1 first choice 991.2 second choice. Want the classic aspirated engines. Looking to know the life of these items and a better understanding of cost of ownership on these wearable items. I do intent to probably put about 7-10K miles a yr with no tracking involved. Mostly will be normal driving. Also, is it better to go with an all season tire or change out with summers and winter tires accordingly? I live in Southern Maryland to give an idea of the weather throughout the seasons. Also, don't plan to drive in snow or expected rain but will drive when its cold and clear.
Thanks
Stan

Get PCCBs, you may never need to ever service your brakes. The driving you describe, regular steel brakes should last well over 75,000 miles.
Here's a good tire life thread from last month:

Use the right tool for the job; ultra perfomance summer factory tires for the summer, and winter tires for when the temps are consistantly below 40.

I'm at 76K on original brakes and they still look great. One track day and multiple spirited drives on country and mountain twisty roads.
Tires I'm getting 13-18K a set.
I have found the cost of ownership less than the Audi's I've had in the past and I do most of my own maintenance ..... which is pretty straight forward on the 991.1.
