Default Ctek 3300 charger setting??

so I picked up a ctek 3300, hardwired it to the battery terminals and ran the quick detach connector under the hood area near that small opening in the plastic, now I can just tuck it in when not in use and allows easy charger access. Great idea I found here. This set up is a lot more convenient vs plugging into the passenger floor cigarette outlet and running the wire though the window. I just lay a towel on the windshield area where the wipers are and I can set the charger there, I have an overhead 110v outlet so no cords to trip over.

So which setting do I use? Normal mode 14.3v/3.3a. Or the snowflake mode 14.7v/3.3a? I am confused as the snowflake mode says for battery temps <41 degrees, both this mode also says AGM batteries?? The normal mode is wet, maintenance free, gel.

so which setting? I assume Snowflake as it’s for AGM batteries.

I've run mine on the snowflake for a couple of years now with no problems.....that is what I thought was best for our AGMs

Also I ran the lead all the way over to a corner and that way I can hook it up without having to open the frunk...

I called and spoke to the CTEK engineer directly. He said the snowflake is the appropriate setting for AGM batteries as they require higher amperage. (4. something ?).
