I did the Master the Manual in C2S 2 weeks ago and had a ball. The simulator is a different story!. I was on Laguna Seca and don't think I completed 1 lap without spinning or hitting/getting hit. I highly recommend a trip to PEC.

Master the manual is not for you then. It is the same thing that my wife did in the Cayman S, the only difference is that I was in a manual. The course really isn't set up to row a bunch of gears either. On top of all that, your time is split up in all of the different segments, none of which require shifting.

I've done PEC-Atlanta four times in four different cars. After the first time, I just told the instructors what I wanted to work on and they let me drive the show. It's what you make of it. I was only able to get up to third gear on the long (i.e. short) straight even in a 991.2S coming out of the last turn hard into the straight but there is plenty of shifting in a manual. 3 of my 4 were manuals.

Don't the manual cars rev match anyway? I'm thinking of signing up, but mostly to try out a car with manual since mine is PDK.

.2 in sport mode and sport +
.1 in sport + mode only (MY 2013+ ....not 2012.5 I recall)

Still, even without the heel and toe, there is a lot going on.

Great pictures.

I've been to PEC Atlanta several times. I went twice to just eat lunch (great food in the restaurant).

The dealer replaced them when they were bad. Had one go bad last year and one this year.

You had me at this:

>I went outside to the parking lot at around 1am and removed the bumper<

WHAT? At my house, this would be an all-day job requiring additional hands. And beer. Props big time!

Agreed. Its a great experience but didn't learn anything about MT but didnt really expect to. 2nd gear mostly with shift to third twice (about 100 mph 991.2s). Did the slalom in 2nd with a longer start but skid pad and off camber dry track is all in first.

Sounds like a good trip. Hope you liked your visit to Tech (my alma mater) - hoping we can eek out a win against UGA in a couple days.

Isaac is awesome for dealer service!
