PCM Issues with iOS 11?
Among all the other issues with this garbage piece of software, PCM now connects to my iPhone (7 plus) but the iPhone plays the music out of its own speakers
Anyone with similar issues, or who has found a solution? Yes, I am running the latest update of iOS 11.
Thanks,
-Bents

Delete the phone from the car and the car from the phone. Reboot the phone and turn off the car. Wait 30 minutes then re-pair.
Have had no issues with my P-car but issues similar to yours with 2015 X5d. Process above cured the issue.

I've had to do this a few times with my car. CarPlay stops working and the only fix is a delete on both PCM and phone and re-pair. A PIA but not that big a deal.

I had problems in all the PCM-equipped Porsches with iOS 11. I got murderously frustrated with having to reboot the phone or switch the car on or off in order to get PCM and iOS 11 to play nicely. I finally gave up when it became impossible to skip, fast-forward or fast-rewind through a track (due to a multi-second latency in iOS 11 dealing with PCM 'button presses.')
I "solved" my problem by buying a used iPod touch running iOS 9. It is now the dedicated Porsche iPod. Works like a charm every time. iPhone is still connected through Bluetooth.
